I am an advocate, but most importantly, an Aries.

Whether you are into astrology or not, you’ve probably heard the Aries signs described as the most fiery of them all. I would say this reigns pretty true. I am passionate, driven, and a confident leader. Since a little girl, I have always dreamed of saving the world. Since then, I have been desperately trying to figure out how to do so.

People often tell me I have “a way with words,” and I am most definitely the social justice warrior of the friend group. Growing up as a Black biracial girl in South Georgia, I have always been curious about race, and I often find myself inspired by my own experiences. However, I enjoy sitting down with someone completely different from me and seeing the world through their eyes. I am completely motivated by connection, and to say I am a “people person” would be an understatement. I am the kind of girl who subtly sparks up an uncomfortable conversation about politics in a bar in the name of qualitative research. I love to talk and share ideas with others so much that I even do it in my sleep.

In my free time, I like to binge-watch YouTube videos, eat good Southern comfort food, and read a book on the beach. I love color, and I am most certainly a maximalist. I like both indie rock bands and trap music. I am my ancestor’s wildest dream.
